Against all odds, Katniss Everdeen has won the annual Hunger Games with fellow district tribute Peeta Mellark. But it was a victory won by defiance of the Capitol and their harsh rules. Katniss and Peeta should be happy. After all, they have just won for themselves and their families a life of safety and plenty. But there are rumors of rebellion among the subjects, and Katniss and Peeta, to their horror, are the faces of that rebellion. The Capitol is angry. The Capitol wants revenge.

i found the beginning quite slow-going and stretched out, but once you get to chapter eight, there finally starts to get some kind of action.

This is the second book of the series and it is another book that will give you the chills. The movie is coming out this November but, I recommend that you read the book before you see the movies. It was an amazing book that everyone should read.

Amazing sequel to the hunger games. there are new characters and even to the story is here when they plan to take down the evil president snow

Catching Fire is a well written sequel to the hunger games that i encourage you to read. It, however, still sends Katniss to the hunger games.

Omg the best book ever! Katniss Everdeen the girl on fire returns to the hunger games!
