I am not finished with it yet, but OMG it is amazing and I am so glad that I am reading the books first because if you dont read the book you would miss so much. My mom was making read it before the movie at first but I am glad I did so if you are reading it first than be glad you are and if not read the book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have not watched the movie. And I feel like I don't need to. Because the book is so amazing, and beautiful. Suzanne Collins is super descriptive in the book. Yes it may not be super kid-friendly. Because it has some romance in it, but I did read it and I am about 10-11 years old. But it is such a good book. I highly reccamend this book to (at least) 9 year olds. And UP! Sincerely, Awesome Dancer

For those who aren't freaked out by killing and ruthless murder, go ahead and be my guest to read this book, Catching Fire, and Mockingjay. For those who are freaked out by killing and murder, don't read this book.
