This is a book set in the future about a nation named panem (used to be the US), and a girl named katniss everdeen. In panem, there are 12 districts remaining, and as a reminder of once rebelling against the capital (the head), each district must send two tributes to an arena, where they fight to the death. This book is amazing, as are the rest of the books in this series! READ IT
actually panem used to be the whole north America, no just the US

this an amazing book about a girl named katniss who takes her sisters spot in the life or death game of the hunger games. dont whant to give away alot but its truely fantastic so you should read it.
