This is most possibly the WORST (or best depending what you go on) cliffhanger I have encountered in all my reading days. It leaves you more than just hanging, you are grasping for your life on a thread that is fraying and there is nothing to do but hold on (well metaphorically of course). One word that can sum up this book is intense

The 75th Hunger Games is just around the corner, which means there will be a very specific rule-change this year in honor of the Quarter Quell. Katniss and Peeta may have gotten out of their first Games alive, but President Snow proves he is still in charge when the rule-change this year is that the tributes will be taken from the existing pool of victors, meaning Katniss is going back to the games. Haymitch is chosen to go with her, but, bent on keeping Katniss alive, Peeta volunteers to go instead. They stage an engagement between Katniss and Peeta, and, in an act of desperation, Peeta announces that he and Katniss have already married each other in secret and have a child on the way. Once in the games, Katniss and Peeta find they have more allies than they thought. Lots of tributes want to help them, and in doing so, help the rebellion. President Snow seems determined to kill Katniss, though. Will their efforts pay off? Will Katniss and Peeta make it out of the games? And if they do, what will that mean for their families and the rebellion?
Learning katniss has to go through the games again makes you so angry and scared! She just got back to her family and now she has to say goodbye again. This book is full of twists and turns that keep you reading. I love the relationship that builds between katniss and peeta. They have gone through ao much together even if katniss still loves gale too. The games are intense and the new characters she meets in them are so ineteresting you get ao emotional when they die! I cried sommuch during this book. But it is so good!
These are great. I can't believe it took me so long to read them. I love these so much! My friend and I stayed up to watch all of the movies it was so much fun.
AMAZING#VLOUNTEERERSTRIBUTE!
I think this is a amazing book and movie to read / watch anytime. This book to me was one of the most heart thrilling books ever, it has great characters, scenes, and a lot of uprising action in it. Next it also has a lot of sad parts in it to, no movie or book can be a movie or book if it didn't have a few sad parts in it. However they made this series, they should keep making them, because this is one of the most outstanding books or movies ever created. Keep up the good work guys.
I think this was an amazing book. It is science fiction and has a lexile of 820. I really liked that there were really suspesful parts of this book. It was really interesting and a fun book to read. I really liked that at the end of each chapter it would end with a cliffhanger. This is a great book and deffinittly reccomended.
Katniss Everdeen has won the Hunger Games. But her would-be-final act of rebellion screams treason to the Capitol. After moving her family into the luxurious new home for victors of the hunger games, she can't seem to find happiness. Gale holds her at a cold distance, and Peeta rejects her completely. Her "Relationship" with Peeta during the games was an act of survival- but to Gale, it was complete betrayal. She hears rumors of a coming rebellion, and to her horror she is the face of it. She and Peeta must be very careful- even a act of good intentions can hurt more than death itself.
for any of you who have read the hunger games the 2nd book is the most awesomest some much action and love and sadness and shocking things! I haven't read mockingly yet but I wish I could! for any of you who love to read action and drama book this would be the one for you! so go read it it's awesome trust me :-)!
