Jason has a problem. He doesn't remember anything before waking up on a school bus holding hands with a girl. Apparently she's his girlfriend Piper, his best friend is a kid named Leo, and they're all students in the Wilderness School, a boarding school for "bad kids." What he did to end up here, Jason has no idea-except that everything seems very wrong.

Piper has a secret. Her father has been missing for three days, and her vivid nightmares reveal that he's in terrible danger. Now her boyfriend doesn't recognize her, and when a freak storm and strange creatures attack during a school field trip, she, Jason, and Leo are whisked away to someplace called Camp Half-Blood. What is going on?

Leo has a way with tools. His new cabin at Camp Half-Blood is filled with them. Seriously, the place beats Wilderness School hands down, with its weapons training, monsters, and fine-looking girls. What's troubling is the curse everyone keeps talking about, and that a camper's gone missing. Weirdest of all, his bunkmates insist they are all-including Leo-related to a god.

Rick Riordan, the best-selling author of the Percy Jackson series, pumps up the action and suspense in The Lost Hero, the first book in The Heroes of Olympus series. Fans of demi-gods, prophesies, and quests will be left breathless--and panting in anticipation for Book Two. The accessible and dramatic cover art by graphic novelist Nilah Magruder will attract a new generation of readers.

I personally loved this book, it had a really good plot full of cool and shocking things you'd never even think would happen. Although, the book was full of historical inaccuracy and some things that was sooooooooooo not true. Overall, it was a really good book most people would enjoy.

If you read and loved Percy Jackson and the Olympians, then you are in for a treat with Riordan's latest new series! Meet Percy's equal: Jason!

This book is a pretty interesting so far. Right now in the book they are at Aelous's air palace while Jason's sister is going to the burned house.

This is the first book in the Heroes of Olympis series. This story uses three new demi-gods on an all new quest. This book is different from the Percy Jackson series because instead of focusing on the greek names they use the roman names, too.

I read it and it was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!

Im speechless. rick riordan, you have done it again!! its like another side of percy jackson's world that us readers have yet to understand! :) 5 stars! GO LEO!!

awesome book, you have to read it!!!!!!!!!!!!

Adding on to the much loved story of Camp Half-Blood, The Lost Hero will keep you on your toes for what will happen next. A book of action infused with a breath-taking love story, this is something you'll never forget!

This book is about a few kids named Jason, Leo, and Piper. Jason wakes up on a bus and doesen't know who he is. After a lot of events go on Jason and his friends have to defeat the goddess of snow and free the queen of gods.

I've read it and i got for my birthday last year in April. I read it in November, and I think Riordan went for an excellent turn- he really made me want to read more_ but themn again, I did.
