Percy Jackson is a son of Poseidon, not just a guy named Poseidon, I mean the sea god Poseidon, but the big three gods were not supposed to have children with mortals. If one of the big three’s children reached 16 years a prophecy states the child would have the choice to help destroy Olympus or defend it whichever side he chose would win the war.
The Titans too!
