Twelve-year-old Percy Jackson is about to be kicked out of boarding school... again. No matter how hard he tries, he can't seem to stay out of trouble. But can he really be expected to stand by and watch while a bully picks on his scrawny best friend? Or not defend himself against his pre-algebra teacher when she turns into a monster and tries to kill him? Of course, no one believes Percy about the monster incident; he's not even sure he believes himself. Until the Minotaur chases him to summer camp. Suddenly, mythical creatures seem to be walking straight out of the pages of Percy's Greek mythology textbook and into his life. The gods of Mount Olympus, he's coming to realize, are very much alive in the twenty-first century. And worse, he's angered a few of them: Zeus's master lightning bolt has been stolen, and Percy is the prime suspect. Now Percy has just ten days to find and return Zeus's stolen property, and bring peace to a warring Mount Olympus. On a daring road trip from their summer camp in New York to the gates of the Underworld in Los Angeles, Percy and his friends -- one a satyr and the other the demigod daughter of Athena -- will face a host of enemies determined to stop them. To succeed on his quest, Percy will have to do more than catch the true thief: he must come to terms with the father who abandoned him; solve the riddle of the Oracle, which warns him of failure and betrayal by a friend; and unravel a treachery more powerful than the gods themselves.

Its the chinese version of a really goood book about a Percy Jacksin being accused of stealing teh lightning bolt, but finds it and returened it to Zeus. He also sees his father Posideon, in person

This book is a SHOCK!!! Percy Jackson finds out he is a half-blood to Poiseiden (one of the three gods). He goes on a quest and to find the missing lightning bolt of Zeus. Can he get the bolt? It is one of the best books Rick Riordan published. It talks about some Greek Mythology with Fiction and is wonderful to read.

If you are looking for a interesting adventure, well this is the book you are looking for. After Percy Jackson discovered that he was the son of Poseidon, monsters from the under world tried to kill. Also Zeus lost his master lighting bolt so Percy had to find it for him without getting killed by monsters. I would recommend this book to people who are looking for a book about the greek gods.

this series is so great to read for gr.5s and gr.4s. It has such good words to use in your writings and has many parts of suspense.

i read them in third i was over avradge though

The 1st book was really good same as the second but the 3rd I would recommend for gr.5

awesomest book ever in the history of forever and ever you really should read it some time this summer

Loved this book. It is about a boy who is a demigod (have mortal, have Greek god) and has ADHD. His father is Poseidon, Lord of the seas, and his best friend is a satyr named Grover. He is constantly fighting monsters, saving lives, and getting himself in serious trouble, but that's completely normal for a demigod! If you are a good reader, and love scary adventure stories, I highly recommend this book!

Percy Jackson has A.D.H.D and dyslexia and has a hard time in all subjects except Latin. And his father is unknown. Then one day he and his mom go to a beach and stay in a cabin and during the night there is a hurricane and suddenly his friend shows up with no pants.
