this is a wonderful book about PERCY JACKSON, the son of Poseidon, has to find and return the lightning bolt that Zeus thinks PERCY STOLE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I read it because my cousin recommened it to me and now RICK RIORDAN is my favorite author!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Lately, mythological monsters and the gods of Mount Olympus seem to be coming right out of his textbook and into his life. Worst of all, Zeus, lord of the sky, has lost his master bolt and Percy is the prime suspect. Now this son of Poseidon and his friends have just 10 days to find it, or there will be complete chaos and war.
i would recommend this to anyone!! i could read this over and over again!! love it!!!!!!!

This book is #1 if you like Harry Potter you will like this series. Just to let you guys know I did not want to read this book I got for Christmas one year and it took me forever to start reading it, but when I finally did I couldn't stop.
this book is about a young boy that lives in New York City and finds adventure when he finds out he is son of Posidon and is blamed for stealing Zuse's Master Lightning Bolt and meet's some friends on the way...
this book is about a not so normal boy in new york city. he turns out to be a half blood, son of posidon. he goes to a camp with many other half bloods and trains for wild adventures. AWESOME BOOK!!!
