Where do I begin? This book and movie are great! The characters in the book are different and thrilling. As well as the monsters' design. Miss Peregrine is such a wonderful lady.
Such a good book.
Before I read this book, I saw the movie that came out recently. I loved the movie, and had heard from several people that this was a good book. I really enjoyed the book, and loved this pictures inside. They add such a creepy, but realistic feel to the story. I love the whole idea of peculiars, and that their powers are not like your standard superhero.
I Really want to read this book! I saw the movie and i really really loved it. Everyone knows that books are better than movies so i really want to see the difference from the movie and the book. I hope to get it this summer and read it! I cant wait!
I did not like this book, because it was a hard book. The plot is apparently a kind of orphanage for, as the title suggests, peculiar, or weird, children. There is a character named Jacob in it, but that is where I stopped reading it, as it was difficult with vocabulary, even for a Reading level Z (my level). The vocab was hard, and the print was tinnyyy, so that was not good for my eyes with already bad sight because I always read. I will give credit to the person who wrote it, it seems like a very cool book if you understand it.

This not my kind of book. I didn't like it because I don't like the way the kids were treated. It turns out ok, but not something that most would enjoy.
While rather dark, it is a very interesting story with mysteries and unique characters. The series is incredible. While I wouldn't recommend it for elementary students or younger students, it is a great read for an older audience.
In this dark, gripping tale, a boy witnesses his grandfather's death at the hands of a beastly monster, but his family and friends label him delusional. After visiting the ruins of the orphanage where his grandfather grew up with peculiar children, he discovers a hidden world with wonders and mysteries.
This is literally one of the most amazing books! And the farther you get into the series, the better it is, which is really shocking as most books aren't like that! I had to stop reading it at night it was so scary and good! But I still love it!
