I like this book because it's about this kid named Stanley, Stanley Yelnats and he is accused of doing something that makes hime spend I think about eighteen months at this camp called Camp Green Lake.

I finished a book named holes!the BOOK HOLES IS ABOUT A KID NAMED STANELY.SO STANELY IS COUGHT DO SOMETHING HE DIDN'T DO.THEY ARE SAYING HE WOULD HAVE TO GO TO JAIL OR TO A CAMP IN TEXAS.THE OBVIOSLY CHOOSE THE CAMP IN TEXAS.THE CAMPS NAME WAS CAMP GREEN LAKE.AND ALL THEY WOULD DO THERE IS DIG HOLES AND EAT ROTTEN FOOD.STANELY ALWAYS WONDERD IF THERE WAS EVERY A LAKE THIER.IT WAS TRUE THEIR WAS ONCE A LAKE ,EXEPT BILLIONS OF DECADES AGO.IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BOOK I PREDICTED THAT THEY WERE DIGING ALL THOSE HOLES BECAUSE THEY WERE LOOKING FOR WATER.ALSO ONE BIG THING THAT MAKES IT EVEN MORE DIFFICULT FOR STANELY TO TRY TO HANDLE THE CAMP IS THAT ALONG THE STAY AT CAMP .HE MIGHT ENCOUNTERD DEADLY YELLOW SPOTTED LIZARDS ,SCORPIONS, AND RATTLESNAKES.

Awesome book. I had already seen the movie before I read it, so it seemed better than it would have been. I would recommend this book to any fourth grader looking for an exciting book to read.

I love this book even though it is kind of sad. Stanley Yelnats is blamed for stealing someone's shoes and is sent to Camp Green Lake. Zero has a sad story too.
