the book is very good and very interesting and exciting. my rating 7/10

I would give it 4 and a half stars

Really? I would give it at least a nine. I love how he had no idea that it was a bad place. Also, the fact that he didn't do anything gets me on my nerves. I love this book so much. I will always remember the torture at camp/

I am reading this book right now and I really like it. From how far I am in the book right I now I give it a 4/5 but i guessing it gets better.

Movies good book is better

bet the book is better though

Stanley Yelnats, falsely convicted of stealing a celebrity's sneakers, is sent to Camp Green Lake, a juvenile detention center in the middle of the desert, where the inmates are required to dig a large hole every day. Getting to know the other inmates and getting used to the grueling routine is only part of the story, though. There's a mystery behind this strange punishment that is related to a treasure and the supposed curse on Stanley's family dating back to his "dirty-rotten-pig-stealing" great grandfather. The keys to the mystery are scattered among a boy named Zero, a warden with rattlesnake venom nail polish, and a boat that is named after an onion-eating mule and sits in the middle of a dry lake bed.

exactly what the book was about. Good job!

do you all like this book

Really cool story. So intriguing and really cool plot twists.

This was a really good book. I like how all the kids were a little mean to him and everything was a problem. It was really hot there. I don't blame stanley to choose this at first rather than jail. He needs to dig a five foot tunnel every day before he gets to have the day to himself. He keeps trying to escape, but he can't.

read the book and seen the movie awesome pair together

Are they exactly alike? I read the book but I did not see the movie
