This book is an awesome book for anyone who loves adventure and majic. Harry potter had always known he was different after all he was living with his abusive aunt and uncle who hated him for some reason. One day Harry gets an invitation to go to a wizard school called hogworts school of wizardry. His aunt and uncle do everything to keep him from knowing he was a wizard even moving to a a banded house in the middle of the ocean. When harry finds out he was a wizard he didn't believe it at first. But that does explain a lot about the strange things happening to him. When he gets to school they find out something strange and dangerous was going on, an ogar had gotten into the school and word is he who shall not be named servant is in the school will harry figure out who it is in time to save his professor and all of wizard kind read the book to find out

Thsi is my most favorite book of all time. I reread it every year since my friend recommended this book to me two years ago. Harry Potter was raised by his muggle aunt and uncle. They were very harsh on Harry but too kind to their own son, Dudley. Harry always thought his parent died in a car crash until Hagrid (the Hogwarts Gamekeeper) came and told Harry that he is a wizard. Harry finds out that his parents did not die in a car crash- they were murdered by Lord Voldemort. However, Voldemort only left a scar on Harry and was not able to kill him. Later, after Hagrid came Harry followed him to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft & Wizardry and made new friends. Together, they prevented Lord Volemort from living forever by stopping him from getting the Sorcerer's Stone. Harry saved the day and survived his first year at Hogwarts.

This is a really good book. Harry learns that he's a wizard. He gets a letter that says he got accepted to a school called Hogwarts. It's a school for witchcraft & wizardry.
this is an awesome book i totally recommend it. harry goes to a school for witchcraft and wizardry and discovers the true wizard he is.
