In The Sorcerer's Stone, Harry is such a likable character to follow as he journeys from his mean aunt and uncle to a magi castle, Hogwarts. Is is a very good read!

It was great for 4th graders. It was one of the best magical and fantasy books I ever read. The series you should also read. The movies too. It was literally a part of my childhood.
I love how the bricks to diagon alley open and fluffy is adorible!
It's about this boy named, Harry Potter. Who goes to Hogwarts, a wizarding witch craft school. He soon find out he is a wizard, and has face Lord Voldemort. Who left a mysteriously scar on Harry's forehead. Can Potter make friends and find out who this 'Voldemort" guy is?
Definitely for ages 8+. A real page turner. Magnificent writing! If you read this you must also read all of the other books, which are just as awesome! Very captivating and thought-provoking.
