Harry Potter has never been the star of a Quidditch team, scoring points while riding a broom far above the ground. He knows no spells, has never helped to hatch a dragon, and has never worn a cloak of invisibility.
All he knows is a miserable life with the Dursleys, his horrible aunt and uncle, and their abominable son, Dudley — a great big swollen spoiled bully. Harry’s room is a tiny closet at the foot of the stairs, and he hasn’t had a birthday party in eleven years.
But all that is about to change when a mysterious letter arrives by owl messenger: a letter with an invitation to an incredible place that Harry — and anyone who reads about him — will find unforgettable.
For it’s there that he finds not only friends, aerial sports, and magic in everything from classes to meals, but a great destiny that’s been waiting for him… if Harry can survive the encounter.

Just take my word. Harry Potter is aaawwwsssooommmeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have read every single Harry Potter Book 7 times for luck, and same with the movies. Back in the 3rd grade, I thought it would be scary, because of 'The Half-Blood Prince', I was terrified of vampires then because of a movie I watched, and didn't read them until 5th grade. Then I bought all the books. I read all of them in 3 days. Yes. 3 DAYS. The Sorcerers Stone is my second favorite because it explains his sad life, but my favorite has to be "The Goblet Of Fire'.

HARRY POTTER ROCKS OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A "spelltacular" adventure is guaranteed .Eleven-year-old, Harry Potter discovers amazing "things" his despicable aunt and uncle had hid from him for a LONG time. Harry Potter meets some new friends at his new school, Hogwart's Witchcraft and Wizarding Academy. He earns enemies, but of all: Must face his Greatest enemy. The one who killed his parents in cold blood.............with magic.

this is the best book ever! Harry Potter lives with his aunt and uncle who treat him terribly. They barely feed him and they make him work for them like a butler. But soon a mysterious letter appears and begins to change his life forever.
