This is an amazing book. Harry potter is not an ordinary kid. he is a wizard!! his parents James and lily potter were wizards too. This dark wizard named lord voldemort attacked his parents and killed them. Harry potter was 2 years old and lord voldemort tried to attack him but in some way harry escaped the curse and was left with nothing but a scar. Albus dumbledore and Hagrid; good wizards took harry and gave him to his cruel aunt and uncle the dursleys. they treated him with disgust. they told him his parent died in a car crash and the car gave him a scar.. lies is what they told them. until, his twelveth birthday when he recieved millions of papers from Hogwarts the school of wizardry and witch craft. he attened the school with a eleven inch wand for magic. he was in griffyndor. his father left behind an invisibility cloak. harry met new friends named ron weasly and hermione granger. harry went to this room guarded by a big gigantic dog named fluffy. they went in and found a man who tried to attack harry. harry had the sorcerers stone witch helps a person stay alive forever. read the book to find out what happens.

I really loved this book! I finished reading the whole book series in a MONTH!!! I read this book when I was 7 so the whole two headed thing gave me the creeps.
