I've been reading these books ever since they were first released (I was probably in fourth grade) and Nikki used to be WAY older than me. Now we're like the same age. The only thing that bothers me is this series is that it's too slow-paced, and I'm getting tired of reading a series in which the books just repeat the same process: The mean girl causes a problem, and Nikki and her friends resolve it at the end. Am I right here? Rachel Renee Russell, the author, has new ideas for what the story will be about, like a talent show or an ice-skating show, etc., but the basic plot never changes and it gets old. Or at least for me.
