Nikki heard that an animal shelter that her crush, Brandon, is helping at might close. So she tries out for an ice skating competition. She is determined to win it because the prize is a lot of money, which is for the pet shelter. But the problem is, Nikki is bad at ice skating. Her 2 best friends are good at it, but she isn't. And one of her opponents is her worst enemy, MacKenzie. But then when they're tricked into going into a room to get their outfits that had been switched, they get locked inside. I recommend this book to girls, and ice skaters. I rate it 3/5.

Nikki was very bad at ice skating. But, she has to enter in the ice skating fundraiser. Unfortunately, Makenzie really wanted to ruin Nikki's routine, as usual... But Nikki finds a way to make it work.
