Challenged by his fear and despair -- and plagued with the weight of a dreadful secret he's been keeping since his parent's divorce -- brian must tame his inner demons in order to survive. It will take all his know-how and determination, and more courage than he knew he possessed.

Hatch is a great book it's about a thirteen year old boy named brian he was a city boy boy until a accident happens when he was going to his dad for the summer because of ''the secret" , I like this book because brian was going through ruff time after the accident happened and how he had very little supplies that can help him.

Hachet is an Newberry Honor Book where the main character, Brian Robeson,(MAJOR SPOIL ALERT) is in a bush plane heading to his father. Brian beholds the secret of the divorce.Brian's pilot has a heart attack leading Brian to crashland the plane.Brian is in the wilderness with only a hachet.Soon he misses his chance to be rescued after a plane that comes close turns back before Brian could signal he is there. Was this his only chance, or will he find a way to get home? Find out by reading hachet!

This book is an absolute fiction masterpiece! Thirteen year old Brian Robeson's world has just been turned upside-down when, (spoiler alert!) while flying over the Canadian wilderness to go visit his father, the pilot has a heart attack and passes. The plane lands right in the middle of the Canadian woods and Brian is isolated and on his own with his only tool to help him survive being a hatchet that his mother gave him. He must learn how to survive the elements, the animals, -- and perhaps the heaviest weight of all -- "the Secret." This story is suspenseful and leaves you wondering ... What will happen next? Will Brian survive? Will he ever be saved? Read this phenomenal fiction book, Hatchet, to discover how this story ends!

Ok,this book is the best! The main character is Brian Robeson,he is 13 years old and has been in a traumatizing crash. The crash leaves him stranded in a forest. This book has lots of attacks. Will Brian survive and get rescued,or will he live in the forest for the rest of his life?

This expeirence Brian Robeson went through is something that will change him forever! He was on a bush plane getting ready to go see his father who works in oil fields. Something was happening to the pilot and he was gone. The plane has crashed in a lake in the middle of the forest and Brian is ALONE! I would give it 5 stars because I love suspencful books.

This book is so good! Brain is a 13 year old boy that is in a plane that has no fuel and has to crash the plane in a candida forest. Only time will tell if Brain lives to tell the tail the story or, dies. I give this a 5 star because it is also so action packed!

Hatchet is about a boy named Brian Robeson, who lives in Hampton New York. Brian is Thirteen and his parents had recently gotten divorced. Brian is a city boy who doesn't know very much about "The Secret." He is going to Canada to visit father, on the way to the airport his mom gives him a hatchet. But on the way to Canada the pilot had an incident when Brian was in the plane. Then Brian was stuck in the wilderness all alone with nothing but him and the hatchet. I would definetly recommend this book, If you like action and survival.

Hatchet is a great book but soon will come down. After a plane crashed due to the pilot Thirteen-year-old, Brian Robeson spends quite some time in the wilderness, learning to survive with only a hatchet given by his mother and learning how to survive his parent's divorce and secret. Finding out the secret changed his whole life.

Hatchet is a book about 13 year old Brian Robeson who was on his way to visit his father in Canada, when a tragedy struck. Something happened to the pilot which caused the plane to crash in an empty, isolated forest. Brian had to learn about different aspects of nature and find a way to survive safely. During this isolation from what his life was before the crash, Brian has an evolution learning more about himself than he ever knew in the city. This book is a very suspenseful story that will leave you asking what will happen next. Hatchet is a great book for people who love survival and hunting, but if you love fantasy, I don't recommend this book for you. I give this book 4 1/2 stars because I am a fantasy person so this got a bit boring for me.
