As with all of the other Lemony Snicket books, I loved this story. It was mysterious, funny, and overall just a great book. I recommend it to anyone!
I like '' who Could That Be at This Hour?'' because it's very mysterious. I also read some of his other books like The Unfortunate Events. Lemony Snicket is trying to steal a statue about a size of a bottle to this imposter.
This book was good, but I feel like it was incomplete. It was about young Lemony Snicket, a young man with an unusual education, who had a job to do, so he chose the worst chaperone there was. Together Lemony and his chaperone went to a town far away from the city on a wild goose chase of a crime. But can Mr. Snicket solve the crime, and do his job correctly, and keep all his promises?
I recommend this book for people who really like mystery. This book is about all the wrong questions you could imagine, Why is it so hot in here, Why am I feeling that somebody is following me, and a WHOLE BUNCH MORE!!!
This is a great bedtime story book!!! I read it to my little brother a few weeks ago, and he LOVED it! He says it had to be his favorite!!
This story is about a mystery where a famous statue has been stolen. The statue was really valuable. Who did it? Was it the lighthouse keeper? The butler? Nobody knows, but somebody will eventually find out! Can you find the culprit?
It was a bit confusing if you haven't read the series before it but as I read more and more I understood it. SPOILER ALERT!! Hangfire did It aka the butler .He took the statue but nobody knows why.Its the best book ever!!!!!!!!READ IT!!
Lemony Snicket is a great author, but this book was not one of his best. The book didn't make much sense, and it wasn't very creative. The book was about a character named Lemony Snicket, who is a detective-in-training. Theodora is his mentor, and she doesn't listen to him as she tries to solve a case involving a robbery of a statue. Oftentimes in the book, Lemony is right about something, but Theodora doesn't listen. The book leaves off at a part that was meant to be suspenseful, but lacks the eagerness to read the next book. I was really looking forward to this book beacuse i loved A Series of Unfortunate Events, but this book didn't really click for me. There are supposed to be three more books in this series, but I'm not reading the rest.
Worst book ever
