Birdie is a normal girl with a not so normal dog. Normally, everything is relatively calm at their house. However, when a treasure is stolen and Birdie is in trouble, it is up to the slobbery dog to step in and save the day before it is too late. I thought this book was both funny and heartwarming, just a little bit slow at times.

This book was the best! It was about a girl named Birdie and a dog named Bowser. Birdie's Grandmother owns a bait shop in Louisiana. One day, her prized fish, Black Jack, is stolen! It is up to Birdie and Bowser to solve the case: Who stole Black Jack? This book would appeal to people who like mysteries and a good laugh.
This book is good. It is about a girl named Birdie, who picked out a dog named Bowser for a pet. Soon enough they duo set out to find Birdie's grandmothers prized marlin. Told from Bowser's point of view, this hilarious story will win the hearts of many dog fans out there. This is book is not only humorous, but suspensful, and you will find yourself asking for more.

This book is about a dog (as you can tell by the cover) named Bowser. Bowser is a dog that can smell just about anything-bacon and the sweat on humans when they lie. So when trouble starts brewing up in the Louisiana swamp, Bowser knows that things are coming, BIG things. Birdie Gaux, the girl Bowser lives with, also knows something is wrong so Bowser, as a dog, will have to do something.
I liked this book because I like books and I like dogs. It had a really good story and it would be cool if there was a number 2!
