I also watched the movie and read the book that came with the movie scenes. Both are nice, but one thing I have to say is that when I read the book Auggie and Me, which is kinda like the sequel to Wonder, The Julian Chapter was the most fascinating to me because it showed Auggie from his point of view.

Over 6 million people have read the #1 New York Times bestseller WONDER and have fallen in love with Auggie Pullman, an ordinary boy with an extraordinary face.
The book that inspired the Choose Kind movement.
I won't describe what I look like. Whatever you're thinking, it's probably worse.
August Pullman was born with a facial difference that, up until now, has prevented him from going to a mainstream school. Starting 5th grade at Beecher Prep, he wants nothing more than to be treated as an ordinary kid—but his new classmates can’t get past Auggie’s extraordinary face. WONDER, now a #1 New York Times bestseller and included on the Texas Bluebonnet Award master list, begins from Auggie’s point of view, but soon switches to include his classmates, his sister, her boyfriend, and others. These perspectives converge in a portrait of one community’s struggle with empathy, compassion, and acceptance.
"Wonder is the best kids' book of the year," said Emily Bazelon, senior editor at Slate.com and author of Sticks and Stones: Defeating the Culture of Bullying and Rediscovering the Power of Character and Empathy. In a world where bullying among young people is an epidemic, this is a refreshing new narrative full of heart and hope. R.J. Palacio has called her debut novel “a meditation on kindness” —indeed, every reader will come away with a greater appreciation for the simple courage of friendship. Auggie is a hero to root for, a diamond in the rough who proves that you can’t blend in when you were born to stand out.

This book was truly a life-changing story for me. It shows how the main character Auggie Pullman gets bullied for something that isn't in his control. He was born with the disease Treacher's Collins syndrome and has 16 surgeries and still, his face doesn't look normal. It really shows why he was homeschooled to this day. It because his parents don't want him to get bullied because of how his face looks. The reason they think now is the time for him to start school as it is his first year of middle school and everybody would be new. I really think realistic fiction readers would like this. If you like this you should also read Braced and Out of My Mind.
AMAZING. the only word you can use to describe this book.
I loved this book. I would definitely reread it.
LOVE IT!!!!!!! XD
I never read this book but i read the first few chapters and I think it is actually cool!! The only thing is that I hate it when people bully someone ( I apologise for using that word, but I expressed my inner feelings with it).
I like how Auggie was optimistic and got through the hard parts.
I've watched part of the movie and it's a bit sad I haven't read the book though
I think that talks about how to stand up to bullies with your friends and making new friends that will last a lifetime
I decided to read this book because i saw the movie and the movie was really great I ALSO LOVE TO READ THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
