I love this book in so many ways.It makes you want to do good to kids that are sick and have something we don't. This book helps kids who has something that we don't learn that we have hope, for friends.
I have read this book and every book by this author. I LOVE this book. The movie is also good but the book is better.
Wonder is a fantastic story, that teaches others to be kind. Not only to the people you like, nor if they look pretty or handsome. You should be kind to everyone, no matter what thing or situation. Wonder is about a boy named August (Auggie) Pullman. He wants to be an ordinary kid, that's all. But he says he just isn't. Let's take a look in the past. Auggie was given birth by his mother, and the doctor was a teenage newbie. When the assistant doctors first saw Auggie's face, they ran from the room. As Auggie grew up, he was given at least 27 surgeries to help his face. Now let's go back to the present. Auggie is now at 5th grade, at Breech Prep Middle. Everybody always takes a look at him, look away, then look back again, according to Auggie. Auggie now has to fend off bullies and also try to fit in and act ordinary. This story goes on, and I just want to pause it here because I want you to read this heartwarming story that everybody should understand. I give this book 5/5 because it teaches a lesson. A lesson that everyone should remember.
For me I do not like to read and my parents made me read this book it was okay
This book was a really enjoyable, inspirational, book. The main character is a young boy named Auggie (short for August). He was born with facial deformities but still had big dreams. He had been homeschooled his whole life but in entering 6th grade, he decided to take a leap in faith and decided to enter a public school; full of bullies, bystanders, and strangers. In the book, Auggie learns and grows from many hardships, relationships, and pain. I would really recommend this book to anyone searching for an amazing read.
This book wasn't as good as I had expected probably because it wasn't my type of genre. I would recommend it to you if you like books about people's lives and hardships. Also, if you liked this book then you should read Out of My Mind which is a really good book.
Wonder is an amazing book about a boy named August or "Auggie" Auggie is deformed and he was home schooled by his mom but now, his parents agreed to send him to public middle school. He meets new friends like Summer and Jack well. Julian is also a boy and really hates August. Auggie tries to survive the difficult middle school with the help of his friends....
This book is about a little boy who is not normal. He has been homeschooled most of his life. When he was born he had problems, his face was different and there was something else wrong too. By the time he was going into like 5th grade, he had like 27 surgeries on his face. His older sister had always been really supportive along with his parents. Auggie was going to be starting 5th grade at a public school. He went through lots of bullying because he was different. At the same time as all of this was happening his sister was going through some stuff, with a boy, and with friends. She never expressed anything to her parents because she thought they were too busy with Auggie. Their dog also died and the family went through some hard time with that. Auggie eventually made good friends and people stuck up for him when he got bullied.
I like this book a lot. It is about a boy who is disabled and has to go to school. He does make friends that know that is is more than that meets the eye.
