Over 6 million people have read the #1 New York Times bestseller WONDER and have fallen in love with Auggie Pullman, an ordinary boy with an extraordinary face.
The book that inspired the Choose Kind movement.
I won't describe what I look like. Whatever you're thinking, it's probably worse.
August Pullman was born with a facial difference that, up until now, has prevented him from going to a mainstream school. Starting 5th grade at Beecher Prep, he wants nothing more than to be treated as an ordinary kid—but his new classmates can’t get past Auggie’s extraordinary face. WONDER, now a #1 New York Times bestseller and included on the Texas Bluebonnet Award master list, begins from Auggie’s point of view, but soon switches to include his classmates, his sister, her boyfriend, and others. These perspectives converge in a portrait of one community’s struggle with empathy, compassion, and acceptance.
"Wonder is the best kids' book of the year," said Emily Bazelon, senior editor at Slate.com and author of Sticks and Stones: Defeating the Culture of Bullying and Rediscovering the Power of Character and Empathy. In a world where bullying among young people is an epidemic, this is a refreshing new narrative full of heart and hope. R.J. Palacio has called her debut novel “a meditation on kindness” —indeed, every reader will come away with a greater appreciation for the simple courage of friendship. Auggie is a hero to root for, a diamond in the rough who proves that you can’t blend in when you were born to stand out.

I'd love to read
Love tis book
I want to read it. I think it is for my age level, so It would be a really good book for me. I know that we will never know what his face is, so I think that there will be a lot of suspicious things in the book. I hope i like the book. I am not sure if his face is ugly, or damaged.
you have to read it... it's amazing!
So good! How many of you want to see a movie of this?
I actually don't, because I already have a perfect image in my mind, and I don't want the movie to change it. :D
I do. Even though I haven't even read the book. Did you read it? Sounds very good and interesting. There is a movie?
There is not a movie. It is a wonderfull book. You should get it!!!
This book is great. It is about a kid who didi not want to go to school becuase he was ashamed. So later on the "POPULAR" group decides to tease him so one decided to be his friend so he was kikked ou. He also meats a girl who does not care what he looks like at all. It my favorite and red it now
this book is the best
this book really teaches us about society and how they treat others according to their looks.
Wonder is a great book its about a boy with a cleft palate who goes though the struggle of being judge and being different.
people judge him? Thats really mean. I have a question. Do they reveal his face at the end? Or do they keep it a secret for ever?
This is a great book about a young boy named Auggie. He is disfigured on his face, and it tells how he learns to deal with this as he switches from home school to regular school. It is nice how it switches from character to character, but I was a little disappointed by some of the situations. I felt that there could have been a bit more to it.
