Over 6 million people have read the #1 New York Times bestseller WONDER and have fallen in love with Auggie Pullman, an ordinary boy with an extraordinary face.
The book that inspired the Choose Kind movement.
I won't describe what I look like. Whatever you're thinking, it's probably worse.
August Pullman was born with a facial difference that, up until now, has prevented him from going to a mainstream school. Starting 5th grade at Beecher Prep, he wants nothing more than to be treated as an ordinary kid—but his new classmates can’t get past Auggie’s extraordinary face. WONDER, now a #1 New York Times bestseller and included on the Texas Bluebonnet Award master list, begins from Auggie’s point of view, but soon switches to include his classmates, his sister, her boyfriend, and others. These perspectives converge in a portrait of one community’s struggle with empathy, compassion, and acceptance.
"Wonder is the best kids' book of the year," said Emily Bazelon, senior editor at Slate.com and author of Sticks and Stones: Defeating the Culture of Bullying and Rediscovering the Power of Character and Empathy. In a world where bullying among young people is an epidemic, this is a refreshing new narrative full of heart and hope. R.J. Palacio has called her debut novel “a meditation on kindness” —indeed, every reader will come away with a greater appreciation for the simple courage of friendship. Auggie is a hero to root for, a diamond in the rough who proves that you can’t blend in when you were born to stand out.

This book is amazing it is thrilling and jaw dropping i loved it
This is an awesome book
I highly recommend this book. It is about a boy named Auggee. He has a terrible facial disorder that makes him feel jealous of other people. He is about 10-11 years old now, and now he's going to public school for the first time. At first he was afraid people would make fun of his face, then, over time, he grows to not really notice it. People whispered about him, and also made fun of him. He got to the end of the school year, and he was actually glad he went to school.
Wonder is a very touching story of a boy named August. He has a Cleft Palette and is going to school for the first time. This is a story about how he goes through school and what kinds of people he meets. It is also from the prospective of other people like: Via (His Sister), Summer (His Friend) and lots of other people too. I love this book and I think this book is a book for all ages from 8+. I love this book so much and have read it more than 4 times :).
I loved this book because; It tells a lot about, to just be who you are. And not worry what other people think of you! It does get a little sad sometimes, but keep reading it. I encourage you to. I think every one should read this book! -LOL!
wonder is such a heartbreaking book you have to read it ;)
This was a good book that tackles the fact that just because someone looks different doesn't mean that they should be treated differently. In other words, don't judge a book by it's cover!
I LOVE this book! It was sad at times, but it became calm and soothing at the end. Plz follow sansfreek or potatosack!! They are my besties in school. You will like them if you like harry potter...
