It was a really sweet story. I loved the character ark in auggie. It is a really sad and great story, and I just love it. I don't recommend it if you get choked up easily. At the end I was almost tearing up. So overall, I would really recommend it. If you are looking for a sad/sweet book, try to get this at the library.

THIS BOOK IS AWESOME
I chose to read this book because it looked like a kind of book I would read. And it popped out with the blue cover so I picked it up and read the blurb and I really enjoyed it so I checked it out.
I want this book so bad bye.
This book is so good! I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who doesn't like sad books. Basically it's about a boy named Auggie who has a deformed face. He is starting 5th grade at a new school. This is my whole school read. I love this book!
WONDER BOOK REVIEW-R.J. Palacio I liked the book Wonder because it tells a great story about how people shouldn't be judged by their looks or their presentation, people should just not be judged at all. People shouldn't have to walk down the school hallway and have to worry about people talking behind their backs, and they should just walk with their head held high and be able to just be normal. To begin with, August is homeschooled but then without him knowing his parents sign him up to start school at Beecher Prep, instead of being homeschooled, and people don't appreciate him by his looks. He meets 3 kids, Charlotte, Julian and Jack. They are really nice to him when they first meet him, but on Halloween Jack says that August is a freak, but then Jack apologised to August because Jack says that he said it just so Julian could stop saying how Jack shouldn't hang out with a freak. They all went on camp and there were these bullies that calling August names like Gollum, an Orc and a freak, so they got into a huge fight and August ended up losing his hearing aids. At the end, August wins an award and Mr. Tushman says an inspiring speech that you just need to act a little kinder then you will see the face of God. The way that Palacio has made the book is truly inspirational about how kids like August who have Treacher Collins syndrome have to live the way Auggie does, and the fact that they have been bullied because of it. I think every parent, Grandparents, Aunties and Uncles out there should definitely encourage their children to read this book to teach them that life is about being different and everyone is special in a different but unique way, and people like August don't have to be the same as everyone else. I also like how she was at an ice cream store and she saw a kid with Treacher Collins Syndrome and decided to write a story about it. There are a few other books about Wonder and a movie coming out starring Jacob Tremblay as August. Overall, I would rate Wonder 4 out of 5, because I really liked the book.
Wonder Book Review R.J Palacio Wonder is a creative and different story that a lot of people can relate to in a way. August is a boy that has never been to school before and the reason behind this is because he was born with a very rare disease that changes the appearance of his face.After many years of being in hospital and having 27 surgeries his parents decided he has to go to school.After many meetings August made it into Beecher Prep.August was practically forced to go to school, it seemed bad but he ended make some new friends.He had ups and downs, but his Grade 5 life ended with many achievements.August is like a normal kid: he like Star-Wars, he plays his XBOX and he also learns the same way any other kid would. R.J Palacio has made these characters in such a way that they seem real, every character is truthful and interesting.I love this story because it shows love, hate and things that happen in the background that no-one could notice.Personally my favourite thing about the story is the problems that happened because they always find a hearty way to solve them.The relaxing but sudden cliff-hangers will have you hooked in 5, no 3, pages into the book. Wonder Book Review - R.J. Palacio The book Wonder by R.J. Palacio begins with an introduction to August Pullman, the main character, who is also known as Auggie. It begins how R.J. Palacio describes how August has Treacher Collins Syndrome, which is a face disorder. August is not at school, as he is homeschooled. The story is about how August begins going to school, instead of being homeschooled. When he goes to meet his principal, Mr. Tushman. Without August knowing, Mr. Tushman announces they're taking a tour. Mr. Tushman also says that Auggie will meet some of the students that will take him around for a tour. Jack-Will, Julian and Charlotte take them around. Charlotte is a pretty nice girl, but Julian is very rude to August. Jack-Will is on and off to start with, what will happen next? Well, lucky for you I wrote this book review saying how good the book is so you'll go out and buy it! I really liked the book Wonder because it shows how you can't judge a book by its cover, except instead, you can't judge a person by their face. August shouldn't have to worry in school with bullies and people that talk behind his back, whether he has Treacher Collins Syndrome or not. There are lots of people that get bullied, even if they don't have a disorder, too. Auggie gets bullied because of his disorder, which R.J. Palacio shows isn't okay. I think it's awesome the way she was inspired to write the book: She had seen a child with Treacher Collins Syndrome at an ice cream parlour and lots of other kids were staring. She did her own research and was inspired to write the book Wonder. It's really cool how she included that scene in the book! This is where Jack-Will has a flashback to when he saw a kid with Treachers Collins Syndrome and then he realised it was Auggie. I also really liked Wonder because it can be funny, sad, happy, silly, and most importantly, it can be a Wonder. There are a few books about Wonder, but most of them are just about every characters point of view. But there is a book called 'We're All a Wonder' which is basically a short story for younger people. Overall, I think I'd rate Wonder a 4 out of 5 and I am so excited to see the movie!
