Looks really good!I barely ever find books like this about animals anymore at my reading level.It seems like a pretty sad book,but it has great reviews, so I really would love to read it.

I just read this book!
Wow. This was an book I will never forget... The One and Only Ivan may be a simple book, but it's one of the most touching books I ever read in my life. It is about an gorilla, Ivan narrating his life in an zoo called the Big Top mall. The owner of the mall is Mack. Ivan was taken away when he was really small, so had no real memory of his past. Other animals that are also in the zoo are Stella, an old elephant with a infected leg, an dog (I forgot his name) who was Ivan's friend and a stray, and lastly, a newcomer, Ruby. Ruby still had an spirit, but Ivan knew that if Ruby stayed longer, her spirit would break, like Stella and him. As Stella gets weaker, Stella makes him promise to give Ruby an better place to live. Ivan tries him best to communicate with the humans using drawings, but will people understand? Read to find out.

I think this is a great book.It is sad in some parts but other than that it's great.
I really love this book! It is about a gorilla named Ivan who is living in a Big Top Mall. This story is about what he experiences there. Things that made him sad, and things that made him happy. This book was so well-written, I literally felt like I was part of the story!
This is a Awesome book that will touch your heart. At times it's sad, but in the end it will make you very happy for Ivan. And maybe make you realize how good you life really is!
