The One And Only Ivan is tear jerking. It is also real it shows how people treat animals. It is not right to not care for animals. To me I want to stop animal abuse because I read the book. You should read The One And Only Ivan.

I thought this book was tear-jerking,page turner,funny.I loved this book.At first It was Ivan a gorilla introducing him self.Then he says some stuff about a elephant named Stella.Then he talks about a dog named Bob.Then in the middle something horrible happens I will give you a hint it involves Stella.Also close to the end they find something that makes Mack the Big Top Mall owner get people go on strike.Last don't worry it is a happy ending but I can't tell you.
I decided to read this book because it looked interesting,Ms.DeYoung told us that she was going to cry.I recommend this book because there were some happy/sad parts in the book.I love this book because it was exciting,shocking and tear-jerking.

The reason I wanted to read The One and Only Ivan was because I was interested in the cover. It looked intriguing to me. What I also loved about this book is the chapters were short. I could read a little when I had nothing to do. Also I love all the characters in the book, Ivan, Ruby, Stella, Bob and more. Read to find out. I love this so much I have read 4 times already.
