i won this book on dogo and i thank them but i didn't care for it it was a good book just not for me.

I love Bigfoot
Its kind of a bit hard, and it is not really my level yet. I am going to continue to read it, but it is a little bit too complicated. This books okay, and pretty cool if you understand the words, but most of them are hard books, which is kinda good because you learn new words.s

I agree. It was very negative, and I know not every book can be happy rainbow sunshine, but I think authors have an important duty to uplift and set an example for the children who read their books. And Alice's example was to constantly hate who you are.
Alice has always known she was different, but she didn't know why. She was bigger than the other kids, and had a ton of orange brown curly hair she called The Mane. The other kids had never accepted her, not even her parents had. She went from school to school, trying to find 'her people' as her grandma said. Finally her parents sent her to The Experimental Center for Love and Learning. Everyone there was weird and different, and everyone was polite to her, until a girl named Jessica comes. She pretends to be Alice's friend just so she can humiliate her. Alice becomes friends with Millie, a Bigfoot. Can Alice save Millie's tribe when people start hunting them?

(Thanks DOGObooks for sending me this book!) The Littlest Bigfoot is about an a 12 year girl named Alice Mayfair. She is totally ignored by everybody even her family. Her family sent Alice to her 8th boarding shhool. Alice needs a friend fast! Alice finds and rescues Millie and Bigfoot. Bigfoot's believe that the "non-fur" world is threatening, But Millie actually likes the "non-fur" (human) world.

Well, I mean, this is a matter of opinion, but I really don't like this book very much. One of the main characters, Alice, beats herself up all the time, and the bigfoot, Millie, also beats herself up, not as much as Alice, but a little bit, which is totally fine, but I found this book really negative, and not 'a laugh-out-loud funny' book as the summary described it. It is just a matter of opinion though, and I do love reading other reviews, so if you have read it, I'd really like to read your review.. UniPuppy reviews OUT!
I completely agree. Alice and Millie, the main characters, were setting a terrible example for kids who read this book. It's okay to have insecurities, but to show kids that it's okay to constantly beat yourself up is awful. Alice's self-esteem was basically nonexistent. I found this book to be depressing, not uplifting.
