One of the flim I've watched.
This book starts off with Sophie being captured by the BFG and taken to the land of giant. However, she soon learns that the BFG is not like the others - he is about half as tall, and doesn’t eat human children. The BFG keeps her safe from the others, and together, they come up with a plan to stop the other giants from eating any more children! I really hope people will read this - before they go watch the movie. It’s a great book, and I really enjoyed it as a child. I would probably recommend it to people in the 8-10 year old range.
I Love the BFG and I cant wait for the new movie to come
I can't wait either!
Hi guys, I read this book a while ago and I think it was quite interesting and strange. It's about a girl named Sophie who gets kidnapped by a giant in the middle of the night. She then hatches a plan with her captor, the Big Friendly Giant, to stop all the other man guzzling giants once and for all. Will she succeed, or will a last minute problem ruin the day. I would recommend it for and age level whether your a parent, child or grandparent so long as you like adventures and friendship.
The BFG is a good book about a friendly giant and a little girl who become best friends. It has lots of adventure and it is so good they are making it into a movie.
Wonderful.
I thought the book was very good. The BFG stands for big friendly giant. In this book Sophie and the BFG have lots of adventures. In one of there adventures they save the queen from getting eaten from one of the 9 other MEAN Giants
The BFG is a story about an unlikely pair, the Big Friendly Giant, and Sophie a young orphan girl in England. One night during the "witching hour" Sophie is awake, and sees a large dark shape in the streets. Before she knows it she is snatched up, and taken to giant land. There she meets her captor, the BFG and learns all about him, and how he distributes dreams to children. She also learns about the horrible giants outside the cave walls and how each night they travel all over the world to eat people. The BFG and Sophie are determined to put an end to the people-eating, so they must come up with a plan. An interesting part is that the BFG has never had any schooling, so some of his words and phrases are mixed up and made up, which can be a little confusing but entertaining and fun. I say this book is good for kids over 6 years old to 85 years old. I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars.
i love this book so much because it is about a little girl who gets taken by a giant imagine that!!!!!
