This book was OK. The illustrations were nice, and there was vibrant language, including Roald Dahl's own colorful language. This is just me, but I personally think The BFG plot was not good. Sophie is an orphan in an orphanage. One night, she see a giant who spots her, and takes her. Fearing for her life, she begs him not to eat her. She learns that he is the Big Friendly Giant, who is not like his brother giants who eat people. She befriends the BFG, and he teaches her about how to catch and give dreams. But once the BFG and Sophie learn of the other giant's plan to eat many children from the orphanage, they flee to the Queen of England. At her palace, they convince the Queen to send her armada to capture the giants. With the help of Sophie and the BFG, they successfully remove the giants. Sophie and the BFG live happily ever after.
OMG best book ever I love how BFG makes proof that DREAMS ARE REAL!! I also love the movie!
I love this book i have read so many times. This book is about a girl who looks out her window and sees a giant. The girls name is Sophie. The giant took Sophie to giant country. When they got there Sophie thought that the giant was going to eat her but he didn't he told her he catches dreams and his name was the BFG. But when BFG's giant brothers found out that he was hiding a human they came to find they human but they couldn't now sophie and Bfg have to save each other and their worlds from the mean giants. READ THIS BOOK!!!!!!!!!!! and see what happens next.

I got this book for Christmas and I read it right away. It is a really good book. It was funny when the friendly giant said," I only borrowed the book for 80 years. Then I gave it back. "
The BFG is a really funny and amazing book!!!
This book is very interesting. I never knew that a giant can be nice. In many other movies I watched with giants in them, all the giants are mean and kill many people. But in this book this giant makes friends with a little girl. I have seen a trailer for this movie and I am excited to watch it. Who every hasn't read this book I recommend it.
