When the BSC girls come to visit Stacey in NYC, Stacey is psyched! She has their whole weekend planned out: Go to High Rock Cafe, visit a couple of Art Museums, and go spend some time in Central Park. Stacey has even planned a fun party so that the BSC girls can meet Stacey's New York friends. But the BSC girls are very out of place in the city. Mary Anne is a "walking guidebook", Dawn is scared of sewer rats (and numerous other things), and Claudia is envious of all Stacey's New York friends. Stacey is beginning to think that bringing her friends to the city was a BAD idea. I thought this book was relatable, funny, and fun to read. The reader gets to experience seeing the BSC girls out of their element. This book was very enjoyable to read. It mixed drama with comedy to make the reader really get into the story. The reader can also see how comfortable Stacey is in New York City, which is very interesting to read. I suggest if you like babysitting, big city life, and friendship. Happy reading!
