Raina just wants to be a normal sixth grader. But one night after Girl Scouts she trips and falls, severely injuring her two front teeth. What follows is a long and frustrating journey with on-again, off-again braces, surgery, embarrassing headgear, and even a retainer with fake teeth attached. And on top of all that, there's still more to deal with: a major earthquake, boy confusion, and friends who turn out to be not so friendly.

Love this book to keep smiling XD
Good book one of my faves ....lol not a boy but.....Oh Well
It’s a good book. My friend at school let me read it partially.......unfortunately I didn’t finish and my friend keeps forgetting to bring it too school unfortunately 😒
Love it
So, as a fellow Brace-Face (for three years now!) I totally understand the struggles that Raina is going through. As I'm on my way to my Junior Year of Highschool, (Yay!) I can relate to a lot of aspects of this book. I love comic books, and her style is great! I have read this book, Sisters, and Ghosts, and I loved all of them! She is a great story teller and she deserves all the praise she's gotten and more! If you like her stuff I have two recommendations! These are a little more action-y but I loved them. You should read Feathers and Newsprints. Both were great comics with great morals AND great art! My Rating/Award-Four Stars and Best Book About Brace-Faces
I want to read it so bad
