Raina just wants to be a normal sixth grader. But one night after Girl Scouts she trips and falls, severely injuring her two front teeth. What follows is a long and frustrating journey with on-again, off-again braces, surgery, embarrassing headgear, and even a retainer with fake teeth attached. And on top of all that, there's still more to deal with: a major earthquake, boy confusion, and friends who turn out to be not so friendly.

This book is Great and I love what This author wrote a great hour read. It Had a lot of Life Lesson's Along the way, Ms. Telgemeier Had A lot of Describing words.
I think this book is awesome. I tells about the author's teen life with a dental drama! Crushes, mean friends, your average teen stuff. You can still read it as a tween though.
This book is great. Don't be fooled by this graphic novel. There is a story based on the author's real life that is told throughout the book. There is also some tough vocabulary that is related to dentistry. Relax and enjoy this story, you'll learn a few lessons along the way.
This was a really fun book and an easy read for 30~60 min.
