Raina just wants to be a normal sixth grader. But one night after Girl Scouts she trips and falls, severely injuring her two front teeth. What follows is a long and frustrating journey with on-again, off-again braces, surgery, embarrassing headgear, and even a retainer with fake teeth attached. And on top of all that, there's still more to deal with: a major earthquake, boy confusion, and friends who turn out to be not so friendly.

smile is amazing
book is so intersting
I had already read the book its kinda lame but it was ok i can tell you that
i think this is a good book for people that have or had or will have braces because this a book about raina that is an ordinarily 6 grade until one day she tripped by her self because of running and she lost her to front teeth and had to get a headgear and everyone made fun of her because of the headgear and she told her mom that she didn't want to go to school anymore because they were making fun of her
i think this is a good book because it a true story about raina she had braces and she knows how it feel like to have braces like other people that have braces and people made fun of her because she didn't have her front teeth.i really liked this book so i would give it a 5
This story is about a girl named Raina, who is a normal sixth grader. She was a normal sixth grader until one day after coming home from her Girl Scouts, she fell down and broke her front two teeth. Afterwards, she has to wear headgears and look different from others, and has to deal with being bullied and made fun of. Because of how she looks, Raina runs into a problem where her friends starts to bully her and make fun of her. Everyone wants to be popular in middle school, so they don't want to hang out with a girl wearing headgears, like Raina. I could really relate to Raina, because I sometimes feel like I'm being treated differently because of the way I talk, way I look, or the way I act. This story is a really good book and I would recommend it to people who likes realistic fiction book, and wants to be more confident about themselves.
I haven't read this book but it looks good
