Raina Telgemeier's #1 New York Times bestselling, Eisner Award-winning graphic memoir based on her childhood!

Raina just wants to be a normal sixth grader. But one night after Girl Scouts she trips and falls, severely injuring her two front teeth. What follows is a long and frustrating journey with on-again, off-again braces, surgery, embarrassing headgear, and even a retainer with fake teeth attached. And on top of all that, there's still more to deal with: a major earthquake, boy confusion, and friends who turn out to be not so friendly.

This was one of my favorite books by Raina Telgemeier. I couldn't put it down. I read it in one sitting. It was funny and everything I'd expect from this author. It's a great read and others will enjoy it.

I know, right?!

I like this book but I never knew how many people loved it this much.

if you like Drama, Sisters, or even the baby sitters club then you will most likely love smile I read them all and after you read smile you should check out the newer version Ghosts!!! ( :

I have this book in my home library. It is a pretty good book. But I think I like the other one, Sisters more. But I <3 (Love) this book 2. :)

Raina Telegemeier presents a cute and hilarious graphic novel about her struggle losing her two front teeth. Even throughout all of her embarrassment, she manages to survive middle school and high school. Recommended for all teens!

This is a good book with a nice sense of humor. I would recommend this book to readers who are fun and compare their own life with the book life. Only, I don't like comic books. Too much pictures, but it gives you a picture to create in your mind how the story would look like, and that is good. So there is one problem so I didn't give it a star. But overal, nice book! Hats off to Raina Telgemeier! She'll be a great author in her life!
