I love that this book is a true story and it really happened to the author who actually writes a book about it. She has so many embarrassing things happen to her but she keeps on going and this book tells everybody in the world about her experience (even if she was really embarrassed about it).

Raina just wants to be a normal sixth grader. But one night after Girl Scouts she trips and falls, severely injuring her two front teeth. What follows is a long and frustrating journey with on-again, off-again braces, surgery, embarrassing headgear, and even a retainer with fake teeth attached. And on top of all that, there's still more to deal with: a major earthquake, boy confusion, and friends who turn out to be not so friendly.

One night a girl a girl was dropping one of her friend off before she went home. She tripped and fell. Her teeth came out and she was bleeding. The mother that was dropping her friend off called her mom and she came as quick as she can. She had to go to the dentist and get braces. Her teeth were crooked and some were lost.
