Raina Telgemeier's #1 New York Times bestselling, Eisner Award-winning graphic memoir based on her childhood!

Raina just wants to be a normal sixth grader. But one night after Girl Scouts she trips and falls, severely injuring her two front teeth. What follows is a long and frustrating journey with on-again, off-again braces, surgery, embarrassing headgear, and even a retainer with fake teeth attached. And on top of all that, there's still more to deal with: a major earthquake, boy confusion, and friends who turn out to be not so friendly.

From the author Fantasmas, Drama and many more comes 'Smile' 😄 Raina Telgemeier is just a normal 6th grader, apart from the fact that she's a bit dorky, but one night after walking back from Girl Scouts she trips and falls, seriously injuring her two forefront teeth. What comes after is a long, painful, frustrating trip with off-again, on-again braces, surgery, ugly headgear, and even a retainer with fake teeth attached! Who knew one trip can turn out to be so embarrasing, as if 6th grade was tough enough! And on top of all that, there's still more to deal with an earthquake, awkward boy confusion, friends who turn out to be not so friendly, drama and bullying. Rania has many epic adventures and this book, I couldn't put it down till' the end, and was predicting what would happen next, even if the majority of my predictions were wrong. I rate Smile by Raina Telgemeier 5 stars🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 For it's real life based issues, problems, epic plot twists and major dorkness. I recommend 'Smile' to children the age of 10 and over. First read Smile, then read Sisters. That's right, Rania is at it again with the second book in the Smile Series! That book is amazing as well!
