Ten-year-old Saige Copeland loves spending time on her grandma Mimi's ranch, riding horses and painting. Her school made the tough choice to cut art classes, which means she's lost her favorite subject. So when Mimi decides to organize a "save the arts" fundraiser and parade to benefit the school, Saige jumps on board. She begins training Mimi's beautiful horse, Picasso, for his appearance in the parade. Then Mimi is injured in an accident, and Saige wonders what she can do to help. Can she ride Picasso in the parade and make her grandma proud? Can she still raise money to protect the arts at school?

This is a VERY nice book. I thought it was the best book ever!!! It's about a young girl named Saige who has to go through hard times with her family in New Mexico.

I was supposed to get this book as a prize, but never got it. It's been about a month now.

Saige is a story about an american girl that shows courage. She loves horses and art but when her school decides to get rid of art class, her grandma decides to make a fundraiser with a parade! Will Saige ride her horse in the parade?

It is pretty good! The pictures are well detailed and the words just drift of the page! That is also why i really love ag books

This was a good book! I think it teaches you about hard work and putting your mind to something so you can do it.

Saige was a very good book. She is a very good friend and brave girl.I wish I knew how to paint, and have great ideas like her. I always love a good American Girl book. It was pretty sad when her Grandmother got hurt though...

I LOVED,LOVED,LOVED this book! I am now looking forward to reading other American Girl books! Wether you're a horse/art lover or not, this book is sure to make you smile!! This features Saige, a horse and art lovin' girl who seems to be growing apart from her best friend, musically talented Tessa. Fortunately, she has grandma Mimi and her horses to keep her company! When Mimi suggests Saige leads a "Save the Arts" program, Saige is beyond ready to start, until Mimi is injured! It's up to Saige to make her grandma proud and to bring back art- as well as her best friend!

this was a great book. I liked that she helped raise money for her school and her art. And I loved how she made a new friend

It is a beautiful book I have ever read. It show the love of her towards art. But I did not liked the time when the horse was hurt. But her struggle did not stopped that's the best thing of all.
