The book was alright, personally I would not read it in my spare time, but if you would like to, that's fine.
i like it a lot
This book starts off as a normal and quite boring book. Once you get through the beginning the entertaining part will come. The book tells you an amazing story of a young girl living in the west during the Dust Bowl. You will learn what these people had gone through everyday as a normal family through this tragic time.
Honestly at first I didn't really care for the book. But then, the book became interesting and at times it was sad but in the end it had me out of seat. Overall, it was a great book to read.
In the beginning it was boring and didn't have a lot going on but as you read more you learn more about Billie Jo and her lifestyle and the problems that she has to face being in the dust for that long period of time.
The book was good. As the book went along, it got better and better. But the beginning was a little bit boring. I would recommend this book to someone interested about history and the dust bowl.
very interesting and could not stop reading the book.I liked that it showed all the posotives and negitives in billie Jo's life.
I like the book but like m_koerbel said it was boring at first. You should try it some time.
It was a little boring at first and then it got more interesting as the book went on and i enjoyed the book overall about the storyline but the dust bowl was a little boring.
