Now a musical!

Matilda is a sweet, exceptional young girl, but her parents think she's just a nuisance. She expects school to be different but there she has to face Miss Trunchbull, a menacing, kid-hating headmistress. When Matilda is attacked by the Trunchbull she suddenly discovers she has a remarkable power with which to fight back. It'll take a superhuman genius to give Miss Trunchbull what she deserves and Matilda may be just the one to do it!

Here is Roald Dahl's original novel of a little girl with extraordinary powers. This much-loved story has recently been made into a wonderful new musical, adapted by Dennis Kelly with music and lyrics by Tim Minchin.

The book Matilda is by Roald Dahl. This book is made up of imagination. Matilda, a smart 6 year old girl, is the main character. Her parents and the school principal, Miss Trunchbull, don’t care and are mean to her. Matilda wishes she had a loving family because her parents don’t care about her. This is a funny book with a happy ending.

"Matilda" is just like one of Roald Dahl's many other books I love. Like other Roald Dahl's books, "Boy" and "The Witches",they are all warm and touching. The book is focused on Matilda's life, Matilda is not like any regular girl, she has special powers, she is able to move items with her mind. but she takes thing to far to make her in danger. When i first saw this book I thought of the movie, since i enjoyed the movie a lot maybe i would enjoy the book as well and i did as much as the movie. I would recommend this to people who would like to face there fear, because Matilda did.

I love Roald Dahl! His stories are so wacky and awesome, and he is just so creative. I can't wait to read more of his books!

I absolutely love any book by Roald Dahl. This is one of my all-time favorites. Matilda is a strong character and I love how she ends up getting everything she ever wanted.

This book was a hit by Roald Dahl! It explains a life of a very precious girl named Matilda trapped in a hatred from her parents and a powerful admiration for literature. It pulls out small mysteries for the inspiring young girl to discover. But many troubles await for Matilda, from her terrible school to the await of being stuck in her worst rival's home. The thrills of Matilda's adventures are merited for a 5- star rating! I highly recommend this book for any age!

At first I was like " Hmmm, this looks like an intresting book. " And then when i started reading I started to sink into the book! So heres how the story goes, Theres this little girl name Matilda, and her parents hate her. At age 1, she learns how to write her name without her phony parents teaching her. Then when she turns 5, well she starts going to school. She finds out her teacher is a kind, sweet hearted teacher. While her principal is a fat, superstious old lady thats always torturing her. S o then when ever she thinks very hard magical hands help her out! So this is kinda getting long so let me skip this to the end. She makes lots of friends and she gets adopted by her teacher, Ms. Huney. THE END

As with every other single Roald Dahl book, this story was absolutely amazing and I loved reading it again to remember Matilda's hilarious, sad, scary, and amazing journey.

I accidentally erased my review. Matilda is a book about Matilda. She is smart but her family is dumb. Her family didn't like her because she is different from any of them. To get a better life, she divorces her parents and gets herself a new family. I like that she knows what to do with her life and also that this book is full of magic.
