Maniac Magee is a mix between realistic and historical fiction. Maniac is a twelve year old boy who is orphaned after his parents death following a trolley accident. This puts him on the run in search of a home, friendships, adventure, and a family with a real address. Maniac Rocks!

We just finished reading this book in school, it was a great book. Jeffrey is awesome. He has a great big heart!

This is an amazing book my teacher read to the class. It was a book everyone wanted to continue reading.

Awesome book about an orphan who runs away from his aunt and uncle and does amazing feats during his time away. He has interesting adventures, meets some diverse characters, learns some hard lessons but teaches some too. Hilarious and thought provoking story set in a time when towns were divided based on color.
