I am Regina By: Isabella One of my favorite books is I am Regina by Sally M. Keehn. There once was a peaceful family, the Leininger family. This family came from Germany. They came for freedom and moved to Pennsylvania. There are two sisters who are very close their names are Barbara who is older and Regina who is the youngest. On a cold cloudy day, their mother and one of their brothers went to get corn milled. The other brother and the father were outside. Then during lunch, unexpected visitors came to the house. I won’t spoil what happens next. That is what you figure out. My favorite part is when Regina tells children stories about the man of God. It is my favorite part because the kids were listening very closely, and Regina felt happy. I recommend this book to people who like to read and are ready for anything. Don’t read the back. It gives it away. This book is in the historical fiction genre. I love that it takes place during the French and Indian War. It is also based on real facts.

I Am Regina By:Ellie I Am Regina is a shocking story about a girl named Regina Leininger and her sister Barbara Leininger who are both kidnapped by the Native Americans. At the time of the French and Indian War. Regina is a nine-year-old girl who lived in Pennsylvania. Regina also had a sister who was 12. Regina was captured by Indians during the French and Indian War. She lived with them for nine years. She learns more about the Indian ways when she is there. I am not going to tell you the rest so you will have to read it yourself. My favorite part in I Am Regina is when Regina gets her pet wolf Tummaa. I love how she gets a friend. Also, when I got my dog I was very excited like Regina was. Its exciting to have a new friend even if they are just a pet. If you like shocking page turners then this is a book for you. It will put lots of emotion in you. I recommend this book for ten and up.
I am Regina by:Anika The book I am Regina by Sally M. Keehn is based on a true story. Bang! The door of Regina's house crashes open by some Indian warriors. Regina wishes her mom was still with her, so she wouldn't be scared. The Indians said give us tobacco or suffer! Dad told Jacob to get some tobacco from their hiding place and gave them the tobacco. One of the Indians took Regina and Barbara by the hand and took them outside. Boom! Boom! Regina heard 2 gunshots. Later on in the book, Regina meets a little 2 year old named Sarah and she is very sweet, but quiet. My favorite part is when Regina gets a small cuddly dog because now she has someone at her side to comfort her. I would recommend this book to 10 years or older because it has some tricky words. That is why you might like this book. I wouldn't read the back of the book if I were you because it spoils the story. Some people hate spoilers.
I am Regina By: Caleigh One of my favorite book is I am Regina by Sally M. Keehn. It starts in 1755 on a small farm in Pennsylvania. One day the cabin door crashes open and in a few minutes Regina’s life changes forever. Only her mother and her brother were safe where they were. One of my favorite parts is where they race back to the cabin. I recommend this book for people who like sad books. If you like this book you can read Alone Yet Not Alone. Barbara is telling it and you can also watch the movie. Don’t read the back cover of Alone Yet Not Alone and I Am Regina because it will give the whole book away.
I Am Regina I Am Regina is one of my favorite books. It is written by Sally M. Keen. Don’t be threatened by the words “Historical Fiction” It is still a really good book. One normal day at Regina's house in the new world, her father, Barbara, John, Kristen, and Mother are eating dinner. Mother and John will leave tomorrow to go to the mill. Later that day, Indians come and capture Regina and Barbara. They also captured the neighbors, 10-year-old Marie and their 2-year-old Swedish visitor Sarah. My favorite part is when Barbara and Regina raced back home. It is my favorite because it connects to me and how I like to run. I recommend it to people 10 and up because it might frighten younger people. If you like strong emotion this is the book for you. Don’t read the book until Chapter 4, because it spoils the book. Josh
One of my favorite books is I Am Regina by Sally M. Keehn. One day a girl named Regina and a girl named Barbara get taken away by the Indians. Regina and a girl named Quitet get taken to a village and had to live in a hut with an old woman named Woelfin and a man named Tiger Claw. At first, Woelfin treated Regina and Quitet but then she is nice to them. Tiger claw is always mean to them. My favorite parts are when Regina gets a puppy and names it Tummaa because Regina has a friend now while I was glad Quitet’s smallpox went away. I recommend this book to people who like history and reading. If you like this book read Barbara version, Alone Yet Not Alone.
I Am Regina In this book I Am Regina there is a French and Indian war going on when Regina and her sister get captured by the Indians. A young girl named Regina gets captured with her sister. She finds herself walking many days with a child tied on her back. She eventually get separated with her sister. She then goes with the Native Americans. When she joins an Indian family and her name becomes Tskinnak. In my opinion my favorite part was when she caught a huge fish. I like this, because she finally felt accomplished. If you are into an emotional book that makes you feel things, I recommend this book for children 10 and up. Oh, and don't read the back of the book. It gives away the story up to chapter 4. This was based on a true story.

The book I’m going to review is called, I Am Regina, by Sally M. Keehn. This book is a true story about Regina Leininger. She was taken as an Indian Captive during the French and Indian War. She and her sister Barbara get separated and taken into different tribes. She goes into a family with Quetit. Also known as Sarah. Throughout the book, Quetit calls Regina her Indian name Tskinnak. My favorite part is when Regina takes care of Quetit when she has smallpox. She boils fox bones for her and makes broth for her. My connection to this is when my sister is sick I always take care of her. I would recommend this book to people who like sad books and who are interested in historical fiction. I would also recommend this book to people with a high reading level because there are difficult words. I would also recommend not to read the back because it gives away a lot.
