"I bought the milk," said my father. "I walked out of the corner shop, and heard a noise like this: t h u m m t h u m m. I looked up and saw a huge silver disc hovering in the air above Marshall Road."
"Hullo," I said to myself. "That's not something you see every day. And then something odd happened."
Find out just how odd things get in this hilarious New York Times bestselling story of time travel and breakfast cereal, expertly told by Newbery Medalist and bestselling author Neil Gaiman and illustrated by Skottie Young.

This book is so funny! I recommend it to every one!!!!!!!!
It is good but it's obvious the dad made the story up.
It is obvious that the dad did NOT make up the story. Like OMG dude!!!!
I agree with you. It is obvious the dad DIDN'T make the story up.
It's a silly little adventure of wacky things . This book truly helps young children bring out there imagination and let's them do the impossible .
"Fortunately, the milk" by Neil Gaiman is about a father who has to get milk for his son and daughter. But the kids get worried, and a little curious when their dad comes home late that night. The protagonist is the father and there are multiple antagonists. This book is full of zany, unbelievable predicaments full of aliens and pariahnas and pirates and wumpires. I thought this book was good but a little lower for my reading level. I recommend this book to kids between the age of 7 to 10.
I think it was good book but if you did a quiz on the order of weird things that happened o him i think that it would not be a good for that...
This book was cool and fun. It's not quiet for my age,but I read it to my younger siblings and they liked it.I recommend this book for younger kids.Nell Gaiman did a good job of making my siblings laugh.
This a funny and strange story about a father getting milk for his kids. But, while he was getting milk strange things start to happen as he travels around space and time.
