I honestly LOVE dork diaries! I own all the books and have read them all. This book features Nikki Maxwell trying to survive middle school. She is at this private school on a bug extermination scholarship from her dad who is an exterminator. At first she has no friends then she meets Chloe and Zoey. But she also meets queen bee MacKenzie Hollister and gets a locker right next to her. Read the book to find out what MacKenzie does to Nikki and if Chloe and Zoey stay her friends.
Humorous, entertaining, and infinitely dorky, "Dork Diaries" features Nikki Maxwell, The New Girl At School. Nikki doesn't fit in at her new private school, Westchester Country Day, and would rather die than tell anyone that she only got into the preppy institution because of a bug extermination scholarship arranged by her dad. Instead of gossiping and giggling and trying to be cliquey, Nikki prefers writing in her diary during class and dishing the dirt on her true feelings about her classmates. When Nikki meets Chloe and Zoey, however, her life will be forever changed. Maybe Westchester Country Day isn't such a bad school after all.
Another perfect description!
THIS A SERIES IS AWESOME I LOVE IT IT IS ABOUT A GIRL WHO IS GOING THROUGH MIDDLE SCHOOL AND SUFFERING EVERYDAY STRUGGLES AND HAS TWO WEIRD BUT AWESOME BFFS AND A CRUSH BUT MACKENZIE (NIKKIS ENIMIE) IS THE MAIN PROBLEM BUT I LOVE IT ANYWAYS
I love it💖🕊
This book is the story of Nikki Maxwell. It's her first day at her new school, and she tells her story in her diary! This book marks the start of her adventures with her new best friends, her crush, and her enemy. This book can be relatable to many kids, and tell kids that even when things go wrong, they will turn right eventually. I rate this book 5/5, recommend it to kids in grades 2nd-8th. If you enjoy Diary of a Wimpy Kid, then this book is for you!
The first book of the dork diaries series is funny and full of drama. As Nikki and Mackenzie are in a mini war, Nikki wins the art contest and Mackenzie just backs down. I really recommend this book .
In this book Nikki wants a new phone so she can be cool like everyone . One day she thinks her mom is going to give her a phone ☎ but really gives her a diary. At first she hates it.but through out the book she likes it alot more. Also Nikki has a huge crush on Brandon. but since mackenzie is a super mean girl she will not let that happen.I rate this book 3/5 stars just because it is a little dramatic.thank you for reading my review -Pizzagirl7😁
This book... is a good book for girls who just want to read some girl stuff. A lot of drama, with bullies (Mackenzie, etc.), boy crushes, terrible family, and the best-est friends! Although the only sad thing is that I sometimes go "Ugh, again??!' but overall it's 4.3 stars.
This book is about Nikki's first year at WCD. It talks about her struggles to find new friends. She first wants to become friends with Mackenzie Hollister (the most popular girl and school) but then she realizes that she is a vain girl. Along the way, she meets Chloe and Zoey and becomes friends with them. Towards the end of the book, she enters an art show but, her art piece is ruined the day of the art show. Her friends secretly create a new art piece that wins first prize. I like this book because of the drama in it and the story. It is a really good book. I recommend it to anyone!
