"A Picture Book of Amelia Earhart" by David A. Adler, tells the story of Amelia's life and aviation dreams. Even from a young age, Amelia Earhart shocked people. At first, she wasn't interested in airplanes, but later in life she became fascinated by them. After her first airplane ride, she became determined to fly. It was dangerous, and she crashed many times. In 1928, she was the first woman to fly across the Atlantic Ocean, but she thought she could do more. She flew across solo in 1932 just like she planned. She becomes world famous, and flying around the world becomes her biggest goal yet. To find out what happens, read the book! This book was a great way to learn about Amelia's life, and I loved the pictures that helped me visualize what was happening in the story. Amelia's life in inspiring for everyone because it shows what women can accomplish.
