Lady Midnight was one of the most incredible books I have ever read. Between the epic love story that will leave you broken and the amazing plot that will leave you astounded, I absolutely LOVED this book. It all starts when mysterious, demonic kills start to happen that are similar to Emma Carstair's parents deaths. Emma is a shadow hunter, which means that she keeps modern-day deadly, mystical creatures under control, such as: vampires, werewolves, and demons... but her forever passion was finding who killed her parents, and she knew that these kills would answer it. As she faces the dark future ahead of her she is an inspiration to many as she never gives up. Ever. Emma shows that she never will leave her family behind, even if that means she has to sacrifice herself for them. As she races towards the truth of her parents deaths she comes closer and closer to her own. Lady Midnight is a powerful, inspiring, and gripping read. You won't be able to put it down!
This book is a brilliant start to the new series added onto the mortal instruments but with Julian blackthorn and Emma carstairs as the main charioteers . It is based 5 years since the dark war and is amazing and beautifully written! I greatly recommend it
This book was amazing. If you love adventure, romance, fantasy, demon hunting adventure then follow Emma Carstairs and Julian Blackthorn to find out the reason of the murders in Los Angeles. I simply read every book in the Mortal Instruments series and the Infernal Devices and the Bane Chronicles. Now if you have read these books this is a must read book for you.
This book is amazing. The forbidden love is odd though but it is also good, but my favorite part was the love that everyone at the institute have for each other and what they would do for each other. Another thing about the book that I like is all the mysteries that everyone hide.
I loved her other series and after I read Posined Blade by Kate Elliot, this will be my next must-read!!
