Claudia Kincaid, a sixth grader along with her younger brother, Jamie (nickname for James). Claudia is oldest of four children; Kevin, he was the brat and spoiled, and one brother name I think Steve. Claudia had decided that she must run away from home due to Claudia not getting any appreciation by her family. She ended up picked Jamie to go with her. They stayed in a museum, Metropolitan Museum of Art for one week. And Claudia and Jamie ended up finding the clues of the famous statue of Angel which was created by one artist, Michelangelo. And that ended up leading Claudia and Jamie to go and visit one lady, Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler. I would definitely recommend this book! - Happy Reading!

From the Mixed up Files of Ms. Basil E. Frankenweiler, by E. L. Konigsburg, teaches that abandonment can only last so long. Jaime and Claudia Kincaid, in the 1960s, attempt to abandon their parents until they learn a lesson in Claudia appreciation. They hid out in the Metropolitan Museum in New York City for over one week, but finally, they were caught and sent back to their parents. Anyway, it was becoming like normal life again. But most of all, Claudia had been satisfied by learning about the history of Angel, a sculpture by Michelangelo. After they returned, some things they had dropped were found in the museum, but they still couldn’t piece together what really happened. I recommend this book for boys and girls, grades third to seventh.
very cool book, I read this when I was probably in 4th grade only 2 years ago but I still remember parts of it, I really liked this book.
