Hey, y'all! I'm going to my first dance on the fourth!! I can't wait! I'm really excited, but I need to know how to act. (I'm kind of socially awkward) Do any of you guys have advice?

I'm sorry, I've never been to a dance (i don't like to dance and i'm homeschooled) but, y'know, just be yourself like you would any other day! Find your friends in the crowd and have fun!

My friends and I love going to dances! One of my friends likes to teach us dance moves there. It's really fun. I'd just say, be yourself, try out new dance moves, just have fun. Don't be the one just standing awkwardly in the middle of the dance floor! Get moving, and sing along!
I learned the EFY line dances on Saturday and practiced for FIVE HOURS just so I would remember them.
First off are you going alone or with someone?

Awesome! I suggest you just try to act cool, But at the same time have a good time. I have a socially awkward friend, and that is just my advice. 😋
I try to act cool, but then I look back and I am like "did I really do that?" xD LOL
My advice is to go with a group of friends, dances are a lot of fun in groups! :D

hey! i’m in sixth grade and i had my first dance too! it’s really fun! usually i just hang with my friends and stuff. at my dance they had a photo booth where u could take pictures infront of this background! hope u have fun :3
