Hey everyone!! Here is the riddle I said I was going to post a couple weeks ago! Ten candles stand burning in a dining room. A strong breeze blows in through an open window and extinguishes two of them. Checking back in on the candles later, you see that one more candle has gone out, you shut the window. Assuming the wind doesn't extinguish any more candles, how many candles do you have left in the end?

The answer is three! Because the seven candles that manage to stay lit will melt down completely. The only candles that remain in the end are the three that are extinguished by the wind and therefore stay intact.

You still have 10 candles, cuz just cuz they're extinguished doesn't mean they're not there!!! xD

I wanna say 7. But I also wanna say 10. I dunno lol

um eight because one of the candles had gone out of the window

You still have ten candles, but only seven are lit. Is the answer ten?

Nope! It's actually three! Because the other seven melted!

3 The seven candles that manage to stay lit will melt down completely. The only candles that remain in the end are the three that are extinguished by the wind and therefore stay intact. Thanks for the fun riddle!

WOOHOO!! Good job @bacon_bitzz I am super impressed! (when I heard this riddle I ended up using hints)!! And your welcome! I love riddles!

Ten because they just got unlit but you still have them.
