Saudi Arabia’s Qiddiya City is unlike any other destination in the world. Located in the Al-Qiddiya desert just outside the capital city of Riyadh, it is being built as a center for sports, entertainment, and family fun. The site already boasts a nine‑floor motorsports playground and a high-speed racing circuit carved into the desert.
On December 31, 2025, officials unveiled the latest attraction – Six Flags Qiddiya City. True to Saudi Arabia’s flair for the grand, the amusement park features five record-breaking rides.
Falcon's Flight
Falcon’s Flight is the world’s tallest, fastest, and longest roller coaster. It climbs 640 feet (195 m) — as tall as a 60-story building — before plunging 518 feet (158 m). The ride reaches speeds of up to 155 mph (250 km/h) and stretches 2.6-miles (4.2 km) across the Saudi desert. This combination delivers an unforgettable three-minute ride for thrill-seekers.
Gyrospin
Soaring 173 feet (53 m) into the air, Gyrospin is the world’s tallest pendulum ride. Participants swing high above the ground as the circular gondola spins, creating a heart-pounding mix of speed and motion. It is a must-ride attraction for thrill-seekers at the park.
Spitfire
Spitfire is the world’s tallest inverted roller coaster. The 240-foot (73 m) tall coaster flips riders upside down and launches them forward, backward, and forward again along the track. With speeds of up to 79 mph (127 km/h), Spitfire delivers an adrenaline-packed experience from start to finish.
Iron Rattler
Standing about 208 feet (63.4 m) tall, Iron Rattler has claimed the title of the world's tallest tilt roller coaster. Riders are lifted high and then tilted straight down before the drop. Speeding through fast turns and flips, it delivers an intense experience with panoramic views of the desert.
Sirocco Tower
Sirocco Tower is the world’s tallest freestanding drop tower, reaching 475 feet (145 m). Riders are lifted straight up before plunging back down in a thrilling free-fall. The ride is named after the Sirocco, a hot desert wind that blows from the Sahara in North Africa.
For those not seeking an adrenaline rush, the park has 23 other attractions for the whole family. This includes a carousel, bumper cars, and an interactive greenhouse filled with glowing plants and butterflies. Also coming soon is the Aquarabia Water Park. Set to open on March 19, 2026, it promises additional fun for all ages.
